EVALUATION OF DRUG MANAGEMENT IN PUSKESMAS GOMBONG II, KEBUMEN DISTRICT, 2022

Good drug management is needed to improve the quality of health services. Drug management at the Gombong II Health Center has been carried out but is not optimal and not up to standard, this is in accordance with the recommendations of the 2019 accreditation surveyor team, namely to improve drug management. This study aims to evaluate the planning for procurement, reception, storage and distribution of drugs at the Gombong II Health Center, Kebumen Regency in 2022. This study uses a descriptive quantitative and qualitative combination method by comparing the value of each indicator with the standards set by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 74 of 2016 by assessing the quality of pharmaceutical services at the Puskesmas. Retrospective data collection from Usage Reports and Drug Request Sheets (LPLPO) and Rational Drug Use Reports (POR) from January to October 2022 as well as observations on drug storage. The results showed that drug management at the Gombong II Health Center in Kebumen Regency in 2022 using indicators at the planning, procurement, receiving, storage and distribution stages of the drug management stages, not all indicators according to the standard. Several drug management indicators show results that are close to standard values such as conformity of items for the number of receipts, suitability for the quantity, type and form of drug dosage forms, suitability for drug storage, suitability for the physical amount of the drug, suitability for the number of drug items per prescription sheet with generic names.
