Beckground : Imminens abortion is vaginal bleeding at less than 20 weeks of gestation, without any signs of increasing cervical dilatation. Imminens abortion is characterized by vaginal bleeding that occurs in pregnancy before the age of 20 weeks without any products of conception coming out of the uterus, which can be uterine contactions and dilation.
Methods : This study used a case study method with a midwifery management approach. Case studies are carried out by discussing a problem through a process consisting of a single unit, namely one person, a group of people, a group
of residents who are affected by a problem. This case study is documented in the form of Varney management and SOAP.
Results : Carry out assessments on patients to obtain subjective and objective data, interpret basic data which includes obstetric diagnoses, problems and needs
in midwifery care for pregnant women with imminent abortion, identify potential diagnoses and anticipate based on problem diagnoses, carry out immediate midwifery care, develop care plans, carry out planning systematically and safely,
evaluate the implementation of midwifery care, evaluate the gaps in theory and practice.
Conclusion : Based on what the authors found in the case studies and discussion,
the authors identified no theoretical gaps.
